Tahini granola bars

Method

  1. Add the tahini in a large bowl and mix it well so it becomes smoother. Crush the granola with a small cup to make it into smaller pieces and add it in the large bowl with the tahini. If the mixture isn’t as think as you want it add 3-4 Tablespoons of Nairns oats.
  2. Mix all together and place them in a medium rectangular tin or pyrex with greaseproof paper. Press it down gently with your hands and add in the freezer for 2-3 hours. 
  3. Melt some Lindt chocolate in the microwave or in a bain-marie  (all the bar or half of it depending how much chocolate you want). Remove the mixture out the freezer and add the melting chocolate on the top of the mixture. Allow it to dry , then cut into bars and add them in the fridge or the freezer. I like to keep them in the freezer as sometimes they don’t all get eaten in one week !
